E3 2016 hype is already underway as some big announcements are being made before the event even begins next week. Square Enix has now revealed the release date for World of Final Fantasy.
World of Final Fantasy will be released for the PS4 and PS Vita on October 25th in North America and October 28th in Europe. The new trailer shows you a lot of what the game will be about.
Here’s a brief description: “Lead the twins Lann and Reynn on their journey to rediscover their lost memories and save the world of Grimoire from peril as they band together with familiar faces from the Final Fantasy franchise in an epic and adorable adventure for a new generation of players!”
Many of the famous names appearing in the game include the likes of Lightning, Cloud, Squall, Yuna and more. The game also adopts a new take on the Active Time Battle system.
The only thing that might divide some fans is its visual presentation. Chibi Chibi characters are common in Japan, but the Final Fantasy series has never really gone that route before. This game is a spin-off though as most people will be looking forward to Final Fantasy 15.
