Fans asked for it and it looks like 2K Sports was listening as WWE 2K18 has officially been announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch. The announcement comes by way of a new video on Twitter, starring WWE’s Seth Rollins.

Unfortunately the video is light on any other details, including a release date, though the official press release from 2K Sports lists “this Fall”. The game could hit Nintendo switch right alongside its PS4 and Xbox One counterparts, or it could be delayed a bit while the newer version is worked onto the handheld/console hybrid.

Of course that also bring up another question that fans will likely have, specifically what has been lost in the transition. As powerful as the Switch is for a handheld, it still fails to live up to the power of the Xbox One and PS4, not to mention their upgraded brethren. Can the Switch version keep up visually while handling all the game’s features and modes?

Well according to the 2K Sports release it looks like WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Switch will keep up in most regards, announcing that “Like the other available versions of WWE 2K18, it includes a whole host of new features.”
