Xbox Fanfest is back for E3 2017, letting fans get their hands on with Microsoft’s biggest and best upcoming games. This year is a bit extra special with Project Scorpio getting a full unveiling at the Xbox E3 press event. The announcement of Xbox Fanfest E3 2017 promises early access to the new console as well, so if you’re in the LA area you’d better read on to see how to get tickets.

“Once again, Xbox FanFest will give 500 lucky fans a one-of-a-kind, up-close-and-personal experience to the gaming industry’s biggest showcase,” reads the announcement. “Xbox FanFest: E3 2017 kicks off Sunday, June 11 and runs through Tuesday, June 13. Today, we’re happy to share the first details on just how you can go about taking part. First, as with previous Xbox FanFests, you’ll need to be over the age of 21 and have an Xbox Live gamertag. Next, you’ll need to get a ticket. We’ve had a big change from previous years, as we will now be employing an online registration process.”

That online registration will start on Wednesday, April 19th starting at 6am PT, with batches of tickets going up throughout the day. “Stay glued to #XboxFanFest and @Xbox on Twitter for when those drops occur!”400 of the 500 allotted tickets will go out through this method, so it is by far the best way to get into the show. Attendees will also get access to the Xbox E3 media briefing, where Project Scorpio will be shown off for the first real time.

These tickets are free, but you will need to have a credit card ready to secure it. And if you cancel then you might have to pay a cancellation fee. More info can be found at the official Xbox Fanfest E3 2017 FAQ page, so check it out if you’re serious about joining in on the fun.
