Players subscribing to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service can look forward to seven titles being added to its catalogue next month. For $9.99 a month, you can access over a hundred games already available plus Dirt Rally, Dead Rising 3, Limbo, Ultratron, So Many Me, Metal Slug XX, and Pharaonic starting on August 1.
Codemasters’ off-road racer Dirt Rally released last year on Xbox One. Featuring 36 stages and 20 different cars from the 1960s through the present day, Dirt Rally is perfect for fans of rally racing. Players can challenge friends in several multiplayer modes and race through varied terrain like mud or snow.
Dead Rising 3 was a launch title on the Xbox One and follows Nick Ramos as he survives the zombie apocalypse in California. Like previous Dead Rising games, you’ll have the ability to craft crazy weapons and unleash hell upon thousands of flesh-eating threats. If you’ve already played it, now may be the perfect time to go back and unlock another of its alternative endings, or even try out Nightmare Mode.
If you are interested in puzzle games or exceptional platformers, it doesn’t get much better than Playdead’s Limbo. Through increasingly diabolical puzzles, Limbo takes players on a thought-provoking journey that is still talked about to this day.
Ultratron, So Many Me, Metal Slug XX, and Pharaonic are all likely the lesser-known titles of the bunch, but still good fun to jump into. Ultratron is a top-down shooter inspired by Robotron 2084, So Many Me is another puzzle-platformer with a more cheerful art style than Limbo, Metal Slug XX is an arcade run and gun, and Pharaonic is a side-scrolling action RPG set in ancient Egypt.
