Xbox Game Pass looks like its going to be getting a 12-month subscription if the latest tease from Major Nelson is any indication. Larry Hyrb recently teased fans on Twitter with an upcoming announcement about Xbox Game Pass that featured an image of a “12 Months” pass for the game. Currently, the service is only available in a month to month format, costing $9.99 per month.
Hyrb also teased that eight new games are coming to the service in March, revealing one of those games to be Rise of the Tomb Raider.
What other games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in March? That remains to be seen. Right now, it is speculated that at least one of those other titles will be Sea of Thieves. The game is still listed for release on March 20th and with the recent announcement from Microsoft that all exclusives will come to Game Pass on day one, that’s got to be one of the remaining seven.
For those that haven’t tried out Xbox Game Pass and want to check it out, Microsoft is currently offering a 14-day free trial to the service. The service features games from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One libraries that can be played on the Xbox One. Being a subscriber to the Xbox Game Pass also gets you a 10% discount on any downloadable content for the game.
