Xbox has just announced today its official new partnership with the Football Association of England, becoming its Official Gaming Partner of the England National Teams across the Lionesses, eLions, the Three Lions, as well as Wembley Stadium.

The new announcement entails a lot of details, promising a solid future partnership between Xbox and England’s FA. It aims to bring further value to the England FA teams, and to “Power the dreams of players and fans everywhere”.

The partnership will signal the start of Xbox’s commitment to a grassroots gaming campaign with England FA, promising exciting new experiences for football and gaming fans in the UK.

“At Xbox, we strive to remove barriers and empower people to experience the joy of play — with millions of people around the world finding common ground and connecting through playing games, as they do with football. This multi-year partnership is a celebration of the driving principle of inclusivity of play shared by both Xbox and the FA.” Said Marcos Waltenberg, Director, Xbox Global Partnerships.

Xbox has also praised the England FA’s efforts for greater inclusivity citing “When Everybody Plays, We All Win”. The Press release went on to praise their commitment to ensure that all football participants have a great experience regardless of their gender, sexuality, faith, ethnicity, or age.

The partnership between Xbox and The England Football Association was initially announced since the summer tournament at the England Men’s Squad’s first training session at St. George’s Park, ahead of their game against Hungary on September 2nd.

Xbox encourages fans to stay tuned to the Microsoft UK News Centre for more details as they announce upcoming activities for all UK fans to participate in.
