Three new games have been added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list, bringing the total to well over 150 games. All three games being added are true gems, with Alan Wake headlining the additions, as a big fan requested title. The other two are Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the original PAC-MAN.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is widely considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. The title originally launched on the PlayStation back in 1997 to wide acclaim. It eventually made its way to the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. Anyone that purchased that version of the game will have the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility version available to download for free starting today.

Alan Wake is the more modern game of the bunch. While we knew the game was coming eventually due to its spinoff expansion making its way to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility a few weeks ago, this release still came as a surprise to many. Fans have been asking for Alan Wake to make a return in any form, as the original game has a devoted cult following. This release is just one more hint at future greatness from the franchise.

The PAC-MAN hitting Xbox One Backwards Compatibility isn’t the excellently update Championship Edition from the Xbox 360, that was already available. Now you can get the original classic on your Xbox One, which should be a nice treat for anyone that bought the 360 version.
