Microsoft announced today that their streaming alternative on the Xbox One will be made possible through a partnership with Twitch, the go-to destination for gamers looking to watch live stream gameplay on the web. Players will be able to instantly broadcast gameplay to the internet from the new console, just like it has been advertised on the PS4.

Twitch streaming options will come as part of the Xbox Live Gold package, allowing players to either stream content to viewers on Twitch, friends on Xbox Live, or upload gameplay directly to either service.

By far the most popular streaming network, Microsoft has scored a big partnership with Twitch. Kinect features were also touted for the service, claiming Kinect integration will allow players to interact and provide commentary without the use of other peripherals.
