FedEx destroys designer clothes and sentimental favorites, then they re-pack the shredded box and leave one bizarre item inside as a sick joke

Another botched delivery.

A routine shipment of clothing between New York and Chicago turned into a complete nightmare after one woman received her package completely shredded, re-packed, and her designer clothes soaked in a disgusting, unidentified brown and green substance, as per Daily Dot.

TikToker Kylee Baxa shared the shocking state of her delivery, and the video quickly racked up over 1.4 million views as users tried to figure out what exactly went wrong in this botched delivery. Baxa explained that she had gone home to Chicago for the holidays and simply packed a box of her belongings to ship back to her home in New York. She never expected the package to arrive looking like it had been run over by a truck.

When she displayed the contents, you could see the original cardboard box she used, which had been reinforced with duct tape, was totally torn apart and essentially shredded. The shipping company then re-packed the remains into a new, larger box. Baxa was clearly baffled by the situation, noting that her clothes were just loose inside the container.

Losing designer items is one thing, but having sentimental pieces ruined like this is just heartbreaking

“I’m baffled. I don’t even know. This is what I received,” Baxa said in her clip. She held up the shredded remains of the original packaging, wondering aloud, “My clothes are just loose in here as you can see… What happened to this f—ing box? I will never know.” The real tragedy was the clothing itself. Baxa showed viewers garments from brands like Christian Dior and Djerf Avenue, along with a sentimental sweatshirt from her college days, all covered in huge, unsightly splotches.

The stains were an alarming combination of brown and green, which some viewers initially mistook for a weird attempt at tie-dye. I mean, this is truly awful. Baxa was clear that the damage was irreversible. “This isn’t even just a cute, like, ‘file a claim,’” she stated. “This is beyond repair.”

As if destroying hundreds of dollars worth of belongings wasn’t enough, the shipper added a truly bizarre twist to the situation. When Baxa unpacked the re-packed box, she found an extra item that definitely wasn’t hers: a marker. It seems like someone at the facility decided to include a piece of their equipment as a strange, silent joke amidst the chaos. “Thank you for giving me your marker,” she quipped. “Thank you FedEx for handling my package with such care.”

Commenters were appalled, with many users demanding to know what caused such an unbelievable amount of damage. “BUT WHAT ARE THE STAINS?!” one user asked. Another commenter quickly piped up with a warning, suggesting that the brown and green coloring strongly indicated mold. “girlllllll gloves, please!!! that’s all most likely mold” they wrote. It’s hard to look at those clothes and not worry about what biological hazard you’re touching.

Baxa revealed that attempting to clean the garments was an expensive endeavor, adding in her post’s caption that the laundry bill to alleviate the stains totaled $320. Unfortunately, the company responsible has failed to offer any explanation or response to Baxa’s attempts to reach out.
