A Florida man recently pulled off an unbelievably chaotic move at a Chick-fil-A drive-thru, as reported by BroBible, and it’s definitely something you don’t see every day. Felipe Delamora decided to take his horse, Gitano, through the drive-thru for a drink, much to the surprise and entertainment of the restaurant staff.
Delamora was heading home after a ride with Gitano when he got a little thirsty. He figured the Chick-fil-A drive-thru was the perfect spot to grab a drink. He later recounted an amazing interaction with the employees of the establishment.
As Delamora and Gitano approached the window, a Chick-fil-A worker named Mike greeted them with an enthusiastic, “What’s up, y’all? How are we doing today?” Mike made sure to keep other cars from entering the same lane, ensuring everyone’s safety. He then asked, “Please tell me you’re getting food.” Delamora, however, was only in the market for a drink.
This whole scenario is just another reminder that you never quite know what you’re going to encounter in a Florida drive-thru.
This left Mike in a bit of a pickle when it came to entering the order. He was stumped, wondering, “What do I even put as his description… horse?!” Luckily, a quick-thinking co-worker suggested, “Put ‘other.’” It’s pretty hilarious to imagine “horse” popping up on the order screen. Mike then used his walkie-talkie to alert the rest of the staff, asking, “Guys, we have a horse. Hello? Are they freaked out?”
Delamora’s smart glasses unfortunately ran out of battery before the whole encounter wrapped up, but he later shared that Mike and the rest of the staff were great. Some of the Chick-fil-A workers even snapped photos, which were shared in the comments of the video Delamora posted on X. Mike himself chimed in on the comments, writing, “Bruh im the worker I was in complete shock.” You can definitely tell from the video that he was genuinely surprised and amused by the whole thing.
The video quickly went viral, with viewers chiming in with their own thoughts. One person joked, “With the way gas prices are right now I’d be on a horse too.” This is a pretty relatable sentiment, honestly, given how much we’re all paying at the pump these days. Maybe Delamora is onto something here, paving the way for a new form of eco-friendly, budget-conscious transportation. Another viewer quipped that the worker should have put “mustang” as the description.
It’s a truly memorable moment for everyone involved, from Delamora and Gitano to the utterly surprised and accommodating Chick-fil-A team. It just goes to show you that a little bit of unexpected fun, like we recently saw in the McDonald’s drive-thru trolling incident, can make everyone’s day a whole lot brighter.
