A woman filmed her coworker searching for a Kia dealership in Indiana after he saw an attractive employee in a sponsored ad. The video became a huge viral hit on TikTok. Many people have admired someone they saw online, but this coworker named Clint actually tried to find her. This is the type of effort that the internet loves to watch.
According to Motor1, Kayla, who uses the name @there_shego0 on TikTok, recorded her work friend Clint staring closely at his computer screen. “So he found this girl,” she begins and explains what’s going on. Clint was smiling at an ad for a Kia dealership in Clarksville, Indiana, where a young female worker had caught his attention. Kayla filmed the whole thing in a video that got over 2.4 million views.
When Kayla jokingly asked if Clint planned to work at the dealership, Clint replied, “We’re moving to Indiana.” He was clearly joking, but his interest was obvious. Kayla asked the internet to “blow this up so my coworker can shoot his shot.”
The internet helped Clint find his mystery woman
The internet delivered quickly. Viewers soon recognized the dealership worker and shared her name in the comments. People identified the woman as makeup influencer Claudia Lorraine Fiorello, who goes by @claudialorrainefiorello. This isn’t the first time a stranger’s response went viral and caught everyone’s attention online.
After getting tagged many times, Fiorello commented on the original post. She wrote, “Lmao this video made my day!!” Kayla and Clint posted a follow-up video showing Clint giving Fiorello a follow. After Clint confirmed he followed her, Kayla joked, “Alright Claudia you have 24 hours to respond.”
The “love story” likely ends here, though. Fiorello followed Clint back and said the whole thing was “all in good fun.” She said that she thought the video was sweet and not creepy. She said she was truly flattered by the attention and never expected a simple dealership Christmas photo to become so popular.
The comment section became funny support for Clint. Viewers created heroic backstories for him. One person wrote, “not only did this guy save my life from a burning house, he completely rebuilt my 700 cubic inch motor for my car. this dude is solid as they get..” Others compared the situation to scenes from the TV show The Office.
This viral moment also started a discussion about whether attractive people boost sales. Similar to how a viewer’s observation led to reunion, internet attention can create unexpected connections. According to a study from Arizona State University, attractiveness can improve sales because people see attractive individuals as more trustworthy and likeable.
The study found that moving a salesperson from a 4 to 5 rating on an attractiveness scale increased sales by 1.9%. However, the research noted that workers still need job knowledge to succeed. Fiorello said she doesn’t believe attractive people necessarily make more money in car sales.
