Southwest flight delayed after passenger loses it over what another man was doing with his wife, then things got messy

A Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Houston turned into complete chaos after an out-of-control passenger was removed from the plane and threw French fries and a pizza box at other travelers. Videos of the incident quickly spread online.

People reports that the trouble started when the man became angry because another passenger supposedly flirted with his wife while everyone was boarding. Witnesses said the man’s jealousy and anger created a huge scene that delayed the entire flight.

Travelers Zachary Neal and Mike Merrigan, who were flying with their business partner Bo Kort, saw everything happen. According to Merrigan, the situation began with the man acting aggressive toward his wife. The wife was crying and asked to be moved to a different seat. The flight crew moved her away from her husband, but this didn’t calm him down.

The situation got worse when the wife talked to her new seatmate

When the wife started talking to the man sitting next to her new seat, her husband completely lost control. Neal said the passenger was yelling at his wife from across the aisle, making everyone around them uncomfortable.

Things escalated when Kort told the angry man, “Hey, we want you off the plane. Nobody wants you here. Get off.” But the man didn’t know who said it, so he turned around and started arguing with the wrong person sitting behind the witnesses. This incident adds to growing concerns about passenger behavior on commercial flights.

A video shows the man saying to the seated passenger, “So if your wife’s over there talking to another dude, man, you’re just gonna sit there and take it like a little b—? But you feel like you can talk to me? Is that fair?” A Southwest employee immediately told him to leave, saying, “There’s no excuse, so I’m telling you you have to get off.”

The passenger refused to leave and started cursing at people who were recording him. “You’re running your f—ing mouth, motherf—er,” he shouted. He also yelled, “Put your f—ing phone down,” and asked if they were “like, 80,” and still filming people. Flight crew members deal with difficult situations regularly, and some have shared why they avoid certain airplane practices.

After the crew member walked him away, the passenger came back because he forgot something. He was holding a pizza box when Merrigan shouted, “Dollar for a slice?” This made the man throw a white plastic bag full of French fries and act like he would throw the pizza box too.
