Stephen A. Smith claims Trump made $1.4B in unethical personal profits, but the fate he predicts for GOP leaders is even darker

Stephen A. Smith has launched a blistering attack on President Trump, accusing him of “f**** up” the war in Iran and claiming Trump has personally profited $1.4 billion since returning to office. Smith, who has teased his own White House run, described the administration as “regressing to an absolute, unmitigated disaster” three weeks into the conflict. With gas prices spiraling and travel chaos continuing, he believes “things fall apart by the seams.”

According to Daily Mail, Smith fumed on his SiriusXM radio show, saying, “What the f*** is wrong with y’all? This is some straight b***! It’s gotta stop. This is not what America is supposed to be about. We, as American citizens, are not supposed to be treated this way.” Smith laid significant blame at the feet of the Republican Party, stating it “has its fingerprints all over it because it has allowed the president to get away with it.”

He argued that “Teflon Don” is putting the future of the Republican Party at severe risk, suggesting their rivals, the Democrats, are getting an early Christmas present. “Do you know why it’s easy to get at the President of the United States right now, to point the finger of blame at him? Because he is f**** up, that’s why. Somebody has to say it… he’s messing up so badly that the Republican Party is in a world of trouble. Somebody better wake them up real quick,” Smith explained.

This is where the Iran conflict starts hitting politically

Clarifying his stance as a “registered independent,” Smith noted he wasn’t “taking sides” between left and right. “I can’t stand none of your a***,” he bluntly stated, warning that the “GOP is in danger of eviscerating itself.” He added this assumes Democrats “don’t resemble idiots and mess up the momentum” that has “accidentally fallen right in their laps,” before concluding: “You can’t make this stuff up. Christmas has arrived for the Democratic Party in the month of March, 2026.”

Smith specifically targeted Vice President JD Vance, accusing him of “lying his a** off” regarding gas prices under Joe Biden. Critiquing both parties, Smith suggested Trump is facing consequences for “bullying” allies and even mimicked the president: “‘Everything is great… we’re winning the war.'” He then slammed the “nonsensical s***” coming from Trump, expressing disbelief that Republicans are “playing a role of apologist” for a leader who gets away with things they never could.

He backed up his claims by citing figures that suggest President Trump has amassed $1.4 billion in “personal profit since returning to office.” Smith pointed out that President Trump isn’t running for a third term, “unless he wants to circumvent the constitution of the United States.” He continued, saying, “He’s going home with the billions of dollars he’s collected as President of the United States between him, his sons and other family members.”

Smith stressed that other politicians simply “can’t get away with the stuff he’s gotten away with” or “garner this level of popularity.” He suggested that figures like Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio would ultimately pay the price if they chose to run for president in the future, unless they started to stand up to President Trump.

He concluded by saying, “Because if you don’t, you will fall. He ain’t falling, he’s just leaving… he’s still good. It’s the rest of us that are in trouble. He has his billions, he has his relationships.”
