The plan for a UFC card on the White House lawn sounded like a dream for fight fans, but Joe Rogan pointed out a chilling reality no one considered

Rogan's quite worried.

UFC Freedom 250 has been announced, and its promotion is at its peak. But there are concerns about the event’s security amid the ongoing war. America’s most famous podcaster and commentator on UFC, Joe Rogan, who blasted democrats over voter ID debate, has sounded the alarm that if this event takes place amidst war, there are serious threats that White House can be targeted.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Joe Rogan said that holding an event like this at this time is a serious concern, as it could become a target. He mentioned that the event will be attended by only 5000 handpicked personnel, and having so many important people in the same place is like asking for trouble. Even though he simply does not like the idea of making this important decision during wartime, he hopes for peace soon.

Joe Rogan said, “It sounds crazy. It’s going to be very high security and high stress and weird to have a fight at the White House in the middle of a f***ing war. I would hope the war will be sorted out by June, but quite honestly, I’m not confident that’s going to be the case,’ the podcast giant admitted. “It will be weird, having this high-profile event where everybody is in one place at one time right there.”

Joe Rogan worries about White House security for UFC Fight Night 250 amid wars, but there are no targeted attack reports

Joe Rogan seems worried, but as of now, there are no strong reports suggesting any atrocity related to the event that day. UFC 250 Freedom will take place on 14th June, on American Independence Day, which coincides with Donald Trump’s birthday. The event is being billed as a display of American might, and the fight cards have been released, with six fights to be held in the White House.

The event would feature an interim heavyweight fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane, a featherweight championship bout between Diego Lopez and Steve Garcia, and a lightweight counter between Ilias Topuria and Justin Gaethje, among others. Fixtures look promising, and UFC is expecting this fight night to be the most successful in recent history due to its promotions and cultural significance.

Even though UFC is looking to make this highly anticipated event a success, it remains to be seen how the organization will stage it on the White House South Lawn.
