Donald Trump, who has welcomed Iran to play in the World Cup, has been under considerable scrutiny for his past actions, due to his alleged involvement in the Epstein files and the ongoing war. But recently, WWE legend Jesse Ventura called him out for faking the assassination in the summer of 2024, as the president remained safe in the attempt, with the bullet only flying past his earlobe.
According to the Daily Mail, Jesse Ventura, in a recent interview with Piers Morgan, voiced his concern regarding the alleged assassination attempt. He declared that it looked like a blade job, which is normally done by wrestlers who cut themselves open to add colour to the match. He even questioned whether that assassination was true, as he had a scar that he had at the time of the assassination, and ended up questioning Pier Morgan’s beliefs, who looks up to Donald Trump as a hero.
He questioned the truthfulness of the event, saying, “You ever hear of a blade job? I don’t know, where’s his scar today?” Ventura added, “Come on, Piers, you’re gonna tell me this guy [Trump] is a hero? Well, then, he accomplished what he wanted out of you guys.” He even said, “When I was referring to putting a wrestler in the White House, I was talking about me, not him. I was the former governor of Minnesota. I’m the only real former wrestler.”
FBI fails to identify co-conspirators as doubts over Trump assassination attempt resurface
Jesse might have made some wild claims, but some things suggest this attack might have been orchestrated to avoid hurting Trump. The shooter was reportedly killed on the day, but the authorites has not linked any co-conspirator involved in this attack. Even after one and a half years of the incident, there is still no progress on the matter, as no one has been found to have conspired to kill Trump. Even the person who attempted the assassination did not have a criminal record before this attack.
With the authorities still hanging in the balance between the declaration of whether the attack was an independent act of killing or a conspiracy, people are calling on Trump to have faked the event for his own purposes. It might not be a challenge for Trump to identify who was behind this attempt at assassination, but he hasn’t dived into the matter again yet. This could indirectly support Jesse’s claim about the attempt being staged.
Following the WWE legend’s words, White House spokesperson called Jesse a fool for questioning the assassination attempt and said, “On that dark day, God spared President Trump’s life by a miraculous millimeter. President Trump is standing stronger than ever as he continues to ‘fight, fight, fight’ for the American people. Only a fool would believe otherwise.”
It looks like the debate still lingers on whether that was an actual assassination attempt or a staged attempt. But when a political personality is involved in such an incident, rumors like these often emerge, with many dropping their theories.
