Sledgehammer Games has revealed gameplay from the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies mode, set to launch with the Havoc downloadable content. The star-studded cast includes John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Jon Bernthal, and Rose McGowan.

As it turns out, this first step into using jetpacks for the game was well-received. However, it didn’t take long for Activision to turn back to boots on the ground gameplay when Sledgehammer’s next Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: WW2 made a return to form after both Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare used the gameplay mechanic.
Regardless, Sledgehammer’s first attempt at a zombies mode wasn’t quite as good as others in the series.
