Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is the first entry in the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles line of titles that are all set to be released by the end of the year. Today we have a brand new launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China takes players to 1526 China during the Ming Dynasty as they control Shao Jun, the last remaining assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood. Having been away and trained by the famous assassin Ezio Auditore, she returns bent on revenge.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles will tell the story of three different assassin’s across three time periods in three countries, China, Russia and India. It offers players a look at locales that fans have been clamoring for, but not in a full fledged adventure like typical Assassin’s Creed titles.  The game is set to be a 2.5D side-scroller complete with traversal, sneaking and everything that makes an Assassin’s Creed game. Check out the launch trailer below for some gameplay of the upcoming title.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is set to release April 21st on PSN, XBL and PC. Future installments Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia are set to release before the end of the year but have no set release date just yet.
