Which version of Battlefield 4 looks better? Is the definitive version of DICE’s shooter to be played on the Xbox One or PS4? According to Digital Foundry, the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4 is the superior of the two – at least in the early builds of the game that this comparison footage was taken from.

The testers said that the PlayStation 4 offers a commanding lead in terms of resolution, with the PlayStation 4 running at 900p and the Xbox One running at 720p. Foundry also notes that the Xbox One is doing “some very curious processing to boost details”.

DICE has come out to say that the Xbox One version will have the inclusion of Ambient Occlusion when the final game arrives in November, so we could be looking at something entirely different in a month’s time.
