EA has released a brand new trailer for Battlefield: Hardline that takes a look at some of the story elements for the upcoming shooter. Featuring that song from Jamie N Commons “Karma” that was revealed at The Game Awards earlier this month.
Battlefield: Hardline, being developed by Visceral Games (Dead Space) takes the Battlefield series in a new direction. Inspired by TV crime dramas, Battlefield: Hardline will feature both a story-based single player campaign, and multiplayer offering that pits players in a cops vs. robbers scenario.
Hardline was originally supposed to arrive this year. Though following a mixed response to the game’s reveal earlier this year, EA decided to push the game into 2015, taking player feedback from an open beta. Visceral Games says that this feedback has changed the game significantly from what many said was a glorified Battlefield 4 mod.
Battlefield: Hardline is slated for release on March 17th, 2014 on the Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
