Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the Wii U is going to be more than mere port, according to Square Enix. Players who pick up the Wii U version of Human Revolution’s Director’s Cut, will be in for plenty of platform specific changes.

The use of the Wii U GamePad is front and center in Human Revolution on the Wii U. The controller acts as Adam Jensen’s neural hub, and using the controller to access these augmentations is paramount. The in-game menus have been reorganized for use on the GamePad, and have been done so in a way that are made to feel like one of Jensen’s augmentations. Hacking games will also use the GamePad, as well as other features like a sniper scope, radar, and more.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut on the Wii U is due out later this year.
