At the end of today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, the company announced a new Legend of Zelda title coming to the Nintendo 3DS handheld. The new Zelda title will be set in the A Link to the Past universe, a portion of the franchise held in high-regard by Zelda fans.
This new Zelda 3DS game will arrive for the handheld during holiday 2013. Nintendo announced it as one that will take advantage of the 3D technology in the handheld, and the game will feature new unique features for the franchise. Nintendo has uploaded a new video of the game to the Nintendo eShop.
