Konami has now released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at Gamescom 2015.
The new trailer is looking epic and it’s pretty much spoiler free. The E3 trailer showed more of something that you could consider spoiler-ish.
The Gamescom 2015 trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still epic as it shows cutscenes along with some new gameplay footage.
We get to see how large the game is as this will be the first open-world environment of the series. Big Boss will sometimes have to ride on helicopters and horses to get to places.
As expected, Hideo Kojima’s name is sadly not featured in this new trailer. Konami have been trying to erase him from existence which is sad since this game will be one of the biggest in company history.
The game is the last in the franchise and will put things full circle. It will show us how Big Boss became the type of character we saw in the previous games.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes out September 1st for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
