Borderlands 2 just released today, but that hasn’t stopped early Vault Hunters from finding a secret buried deep in the Caustic Caverns of the game. Â Gearbox tucked away a hidden gem from another popular title, Minecraft. Â Getting there is easy if you have the weapons and skill level to do so, and you must have progressed past a certain point in the game to access this hidden area.
Warning! Spoilers past this point.
In the first hour or so of Borderlands 2 you’ll learn that Sanctuary can fly, or that it at least has the capability of doing so. Â Once the hub city of the game takes to the sky, it leaves a hole on the ground of Pandora. Â If you explore that hole, and travel down to the depths of it, you’ll find Caustic Caverns, an underground nook that could be easily overlooked as it has nothing to do with the main storyline of the game.
Tucked away even further in the depths of Caustic Caverns are some familiar looking blocks that come straight from Minecraft. Â If you find these dirt blocks and melee through them, you’ll enter a cavern complete with Creepers and some cool Minecraft Skins for your character.
So how do you get there? Â We put together the video below to help guide you to the very specific location.
