Modern Warfare 3 was scheduled to be shown to the world during tonight’s Western Conference Finals, but Infinity Ward has released the minute and a half of gameplay footage early. As expected, the trailer shows a world at war, with chaos across the continents. The trailer appears to be mostly, if not all, from the single player portion of Modern Warfare 3.
“It doesn’t take the most powerful nations on Earth, to create the next global conflict, just the will of a single man.” is the quote that caps off the trailer, so it looks like Makarov is definitely behind the global conflict. Though it’s not confirmed officially, we never really did get any closure in that part of the story of Modern Warfare 2. We’ll go ahead and assume that the voice is his, until we’re told otherwise.
The trailer has plenty of action packed gameplay to get you pumped about the sequel which also confirms the release date. Modern Warfare 3 is coming on November 8th. Get Ready.
