Tokyo Game Show 2014 has shown off new gameplay of the upcoming patch 2.4 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn titled ‘Dream Of Ice’.
The upcoming Dream Of Ice patch is set to add a slew of content to Final Fantasy XIV for fans. The patch is set to add several new dungeons, a new class with a new job and a hard trial for groups. Additionally there will be new dyes, new housing ward, the Binding Coil Of Bahamut duties and new PvP ranks. They have released a general trailer in Japanese for the upcoming content. The dungeons added are Snowcloak Ice Caverns, another new cavern dungeon and Buried Temple. The dungeons look pretty cool. Check out the video below for a quick look at them.
Next is the Shiva battle in the Ahk Fah Amphitheatre which is a hard mode Shiva battle for groups. Players can expect new loot and rewards for beating it. Take a look.
Finally there is the new Rogue class and new job, Ninja. The Rogue is a good DPS class which can deal poison and move at a much faster rate than other classes. The Ninja comes with a few poison moves of their own. Check out the video below for a breakdown of both.
There currently is no date set for the 2.4 ‘Dream Of Ice’ patch for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn but when it does it will launch on Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PC.
