Night Vision returns in Splinter Cell Blacklist

Surprise. Night Vision is returning in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. A recent video outlines one of Sam Fisher’s most valuable tools, the night vision goggles, used to sneakily navigate environments and get the jump on his enemies.

This short developer-led video sneak peek at Sam’s Night Vision hardware looks at one of the darker environments that we’ve seen in the marketing of Blacklist. Zack Cooper, if you are reading this, this is a plea to give us just a glimpse of what the new Spies vs. Mercs component will be.

We’ve heard little about the return of the popular mode, and I think I can speak for a majority of long-time Splinter Cell fans, THIS IS WHAT WE WANT TO SEE! Ok, nevermind the whole I speak for everyone thing; THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SEE!

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is due out in August on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.
