Sacred 3’s long awaited release is just around the corner for RPG fans to get their fix on the anticipated sequel and Deep Silver has released a new CG trailer along with some info on how competition will meld with cooperation.
Sacred 3 will allow players to not only play side-by side and conquer the arcade style hack and slash title but also compete based on kills. After each area/level a score sheet will reveal the one with who stands tall against their peers. Given that there are various classes it opens the game up to more ways to play the game and enjoy a nice balance between friendly competition and cooperation with peers. Sacred 3 has the heroes locked in a battle of good versus evil against Lord Zane, ruler of the Ashen Empire who has allied himself with demons and is looking for the sacred Heart of Ancaria which has kept the land at peace.
Players will return to Ancaria soon enough as Sacred 3 is set to release on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 August 22nd in Europe and August 26th in North America.
