New Need For Speed Title Being Developed by Criterion

The latest Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Title Is being Developed by Criterion the racing masterminds behind the Burnout series.  Criterion claims to be taking it back to its roots.  Need For Speed Hot Pursuit will let players play as both racers and cops in career modes and online.

Criterion has also initiated Need For Speed Auto Log an internet connected service that allows players to view there friends on Need For Speed, watch news, and feeds, shop at the NFS store, and the service will even recommend gametypes depending on what other friends have been playing.  Have a look at the CG trailer as well as multiplayer video.
