Splinter Cell: Blacklist Spies vs. Mercs will be revealed in May

Ubisoft will finally take the wraps off of Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s Spies vs. Mercs on May 2nd. Revealed to be returning at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference, Spies vs. Mercs was one feature that was sorely missed by longtime Splinter Cell fans in the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction.

There’s no telling which direction Ubisoft is headed with the reworked Spies vs Mercs features, but the popular online mode had featured teams of three pitted against each other in objective based gameplay in the past.

We’ll see if Ubisoft stays true to Splinter Cell roots with Spies vs. Mercs in Blacklist, or whether they extend the new online modes that arrived in Conviction.
