The crown jewel in the Sony’s 2011 onslaught of console exclusives is just around the corner.  Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is thought by many fans to be the best of the best when it comes to games that are only playable on the PlayStation 3.  Lets put aside for a moment that it includes a completely capable online component that just came out of beta, and focus on what really sets the Uncharted series apart from the competition, the campaign.

In Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog raised the bar for story telling in an action adventure game with Among Thieves.  Now in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, from what we’ve seen so far, they’re taking it to a whole other level with even more amazing set pieces than ever before.  We’ve seen some interesting settings thus far from the game, and at the recent Gamescom convention, Naughty Dog revealed an extended look at footage from the Airstrip.
