The Majami Hiroz YouTube channel (pronounced “Miami Heroes”) is a fun place to go if you like contemporary video games, the Commodore 64, and the glory of the 1980s rolled into one delicious package. Their Commodore 64 treatment has been given to the likes of GTA: Vice City, Assassin’s Creed II, and L.A. Noire. Now, the fun has found its way to Ubisoft’s upcoming juggernaut, Watch Dogs.
This video is just dripping with faux nostalgia.
Make sure you check out their other videos, too. While they’re all great, the Assassin’s Creed II video in particular is quite epic. If you had to pick a title to get regressed to the old school age of gaming, which one would it be? Watch Dogs is a great choice but there’s a little Batman game coming from Rocksteady that might also fit the bill for future fake Commodore 64 adaptations.
As for the real deal Watch Dogs, May 27th can’t come soon enough.
