Wolfenstein: The New Order readies for release

Bethesda has released the launch trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order. Due to release next week on almost every platform under the sun, this trailer dubbed “House of the Rising Sun” shows off some new gameplay for the Machine Games shooter.

Set in the 1960s, the monstrous Nazi regime has used mysterious advanced technology to win World War II. They now rule the globe with an iron fist. With the help of a small group of resistance fighters, Wolfenstein: The New Order sends you across Europe on a harrowing mission to bring down the Nazi war machine that has conquered Earth – and beyond.

Bethesda makes sure to clarify, “The story and contents of this game are not intended to and should not be construed in any way to condone, glorify or endorse the beliefs, ideologies, events, actions, persons or behavior of the Nazi regime or to trivialize its war crimes, genocide and other crimes against humanity.”

It’s nice to know that Bethesda doesn’t condone genocide.
