EA and Dice have been very generous with their Road to Battlefield 1 promotion, making DLC from both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline free across all platforms. While they had been doing this with each pack being free for a limited amount of time before moving on to the next, they have now made the entire batch of Battlefield 4 expansion packs free.
The announcement was made on the official Battlefield website, where they revealed that all five of the game’s expansion packs would be free across all platforms until September 19th. There are also five themed community missions that you can learn more about by checking out the blog post by clicking right here.
The Road to Battlefield 1 has been going on for several months now, though there obviously isn’t much time left in it as the game will finally launch next month. There’s expected to be more deals from previous Battlefield games coming soon, so be sure to stay tuned for any other freebies.
Battlefield 1 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 21st, with the game’s open beta coming to an end earlier this month.
