Modern Warfare 3 June Xbox 360 Elite Content Revealed

Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin has revealed the contents of this month’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Elite DLC.  Later this week, players will get one new Spec Ops Mission, and three new Faceoff Maps.  Rubin explained that these three new Faceoff maps would probably be the last for that game mode.

Rubin didn’t give much color about what to expect from the four new maps, but he did spill their names:

“So the Elite content calendar isn’t updated yet, but I’m going to go ahead and tell you what drops tomorrow.  Also those guys need to update the categories to be more accurate.  We’ll get on them about that.  The June drop is a Spec Ops mission called Arctic Recon.  And 3 new Faceoff maps Vortex, U-Turn, and Intersection.  As soon as Activision releases some screens and/or vids I’ll link them,” said Rubin.

If you’re wondering where the traditional multiplayer maps are, Rubin explained via Twitter.

“I know a lot of people have been loving the Faceoff maps… Also I know some people haven’t really gotten into them and would prefer regular MP maps.  We didn’t have any maps done in time for this drop, but we do have some coming soon.  Also that will probably be the last of the Faceoff maps that we make, so hope everyone who has been loving them as much as I have enjoy the new ones coming tomorrow.”

Modern Warfare 3 Content Drop 13,14,15 are slated to arrive on the Xbox 360 on June 19th.
