This is definitely news that nobody saw coming or even ever wanted to see, but it has just been revealed that the critically-panned Rambo: The Video Game will be getting new DLC tomorrow on PlayStation 3 and PC.
It is called the Baker Team and includes 3Â new missions that are set during the Vietnam War, while also packing in a brand new difficulty called John Rambo. There will also be 5 new weapons added to the game, as well as 5 new perks, 8 new trophies/achievements and the ability to now level up Rambo to 25.
Publisher Reef Entertainment provides the following: “RAMBO THE VIDEO GAME: BAKER TEAM contains an original story consisting of three rail-shooting missions set during John Rambo’s service as a Green Beret during the Vietnam War. Rambo leads the BAKER TEAM and joins Barry, Messner and Danforth on a covert mission deep into territory with high Viet Cong activity.”
Remember, the DLC is entirely free and is available to download for anyone who owns the original game. If you have the game and literally have nothing else better to do then I guess it’s worth downloading, but for everyone else please stay far away from this mess of a game.
