Pokemon Go is a very unique game as you have to travel to real-life locations in order to catch new Pokemon. A police station in Australia is advising people that you don’t have to enter their premises to get new Pokemon.
If you live in Australia, there is a location in Pokemon Go near the Darwin Police Station. They posted some advice on Facebook to players saying that they only have to be near the police station.
They said: “For those budding Pokemon Trainers out there using Pokemon Go – whilst the Darwin Police Station may feature as a Pokestop, please be advised that you don’t actually have to step inside in order to gain the pokeballs. It’s also a good idea to look up, away from your phone and both ways before crossing the street. That Sandshrew isn’t going anywhere fast.
Staying safe is the most important one. There are many locations to catch Pokemon, but some areas can be risky if you are not paying attention to your surroundings. One location near to me is beside the motorway. If you feel a location might be too dangerous, choose elsewhere to look instead.
