Naughty Dog has teased that there will be an emotional scene that plays out in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s writer, Neil Druckmann, tweeted:

“Man… these actors. Captured a scene today with some serious feels. Can’t wait for you guys to experience this story. #uncharted4”

Druckmann wrote the story for The Last of Us and that game had a lot of dramatic and emotional scenes. His wording for “serious feels” suggests there are some similar moments in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as well.

It’s interesting to note about the story of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The previous games were written by Amy Hennig, but she left the studio last year. Druckmann is now the lead writer for the game. It’s possible the game could be more emotional and story-driven than the past games.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End adds an interesting dynamic to the story as we are introduced to Nathan Drake’s brother named Sam. It’ll be interesting to see how their relationship grows over the course of the game.

Uncharted fans shouldn’t worry about the tone in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End though. Naughty Dog promises the game will still light-hearted and won’t be as dark and depressing as The Last of Us.
