Ubisoft has released a developer-led walkthrough for the cooperative mode of Far Cry 3. The Cooperative story mode takes place six months prior to the events of the single player portion of Far Cry 3. While the developer did not divulge each character’s bio, they did note that each had a unique background story that make them a good candidate for traversing the jungle island in Far Cry 3.

Each chapter of the cooperative mode will take you to a part of the jungle that is not seen anywhere else. Looking straight forward as a mode, the cooperative gameplay revolves around team based objective style missions. Unlockable perks and weapons loadouts are all customizable in co-op play, and there will be a mixture of competive and cooperative elements in each chapter.

Far Cry 3 is due out in November on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
