According to Microsoft, demand for the Xbox One is strong.  The company claims that since the November 22nd launch, they’re unable to meet demand for the new console, selling every Xbox One they can manufacture at this point.

Demand is far exceeding supply, says Microsoft.

“Eleven days in we are seeing record breaking sales and are selling every Xbox One we can make,” says Microsoft’s Yusuf Mehdi.  “Demand is far exceeding supply in the 13 countries we’ve launched and we are sold out at retailers around the world.”

It sounds like the Xbox One is definitely going to be a tough item to find this holiday season.  Retailers haven’t been able to keep the console in stock with any consistency, and secondary markets like Ebay have been selling the console at a premium of up to 20-30% of the $499.99 sticker price.
