Games with Gold will start offering games to Xbox One players starting in June. Announced today alongside the reveal of a Kinect-less Xbox One offering, two free games will be released next month for the Xbox One.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault will arrive free of charge for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Xbox One owners have been waiting patiently for the program to extend to the new console, and it looks like that is finally happening.

Xbox 360 players will also get games in June. Dark Souls, Charlie Murder, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will all be offered up for Xbox Live Gold subscribers to download free of charge.

June marks the one-year anniversary of the Games with Gold program.
