While not at quite the pace of news coming out as Hyrule Warriors, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have had their fair share of info released since their initial announcement, from new features to new Mega Evolutions. However, today we are going to take a look at some comparison screenshots between the new remakes and the originals for the Game Boy Advance.

Thanks to an anonymous Pokemon fan, a full collage of comparison screenshots have been made and put into one large image, which you be seen right here. Technically, the screenshots for the originals are from the Pokemon Emerald version, but it maintains mostly the same looks and aesthetics of the original Ruby and Sapphire. It really is crazy to see how much has improved in the decade or so since the release of Ruby and Sapphire, but at the same time how respectful they are to the source material with there being no doubt this is a true remake.

The new 3D environments in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire allow for much better perspectives, especially in conversations with characters. This can especially be seen in the interaction with Flannery, which features some interesting facial expressions that we missed in the original, by only getting text essentially due to the graphical limitations.

Look for the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on the Nintendo 3DS this coming November.
