Game developer Eskil Steenberg the creator of the MMO, Love, had some pretty strong words when it comes to Microsoft’s Kinect motion controller.  The developer who has toiled for almost four years building his MMO, thinks that technically the Kinect Motion Controller is pretty much worthless when it comes to most games.

“Kinect is pretty cool from a technical point of view but pretty worthless for most games, the developer told Eurogamer in a recent interview.  Game’s that are good for it are dancing and aerobics stuff.  That’s what it’s good for.”  “If I were making a game I would much rather make it for Move, because you actually have a button.”  “There are some good things about it, but in a way I think it’s kind of a cheat.”

It’s true the killer applications that have been released for the device have been dancing games, and excercise games but Microsoft has strongly proclaimed the fact that 2011 will change the way that core gamers view the Kinect.  The latest Kinect title to be revealed was Sesame Street by Double Fine.
