A California judge is moving the trial forward in Activision’s case against former employees Vince Zampella, Jason West, and co-defendant Electronic Arts.  The case is one where Activision is seeking 400 M dollars in damages from collusion while former employees were under contract.

When originally named as co-defendants in the case, EA dismissed the case as petty.

The Californian Superior Court Judge Berle ruled today that there was enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

There are said to be other legal manuevers that Electronic Arts can take to avoid going to trial, but if they fail to file, or the judge rejects them, you can expect the trial to begin sometime in May.
