After confirming last November that Just Cause 3 would be released very little has been unveiled by Avalanche Studios, but today the developers have released a teaser trailer.
Since the initial announcement, the Swedish games studio has revealed a batch of stunning screenshots but this is the first video content. Whilst it features no gameplay, the teaser trailer does show that the game is heading in the same explosive direction as the rest of the titles in the franchise.
Just Cause 3 will see Rico Rodriguez arrive at a Mediterranean island equipped with his trust grapple hook and parachute. While Avalanche Studios and Square Enix confirm that both items will see game changing upgrades it is perhaps the addition of a wing suit that gamers will get truly excited about. We can only hope that it offers as much entertainment as the wing suit seen in recent Far Cry titles.
Unfortunately, for those still on last generation consoles and Wii U the game is set for release only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, due to this the game should be able to go above and beyond anything from the previous games.
Just Cause 3 is slated for release in Holiday 2015, so gamers still have a while before the aerial daredevil Rico Rodriguez returns.
