The Mii Fighter trio of Amiibo figures won’t be hitting US shelves for a few weeks, but we went ahead and got them shipped over all the way from Japan just so we could have an early look. These three Amiibo represent the three fighting configurations that Mii characters can take, namely the Brawler, Swordsman, and Gunner.

With these figures not being based on well established characters, they could have easily been the lowest quality of the bunch, but Nintendo has made sure that they meet the usual standards that we have come to expect from Amiibo. Check out the unboxing video below, which shows us cracking open all three individual Mii Fighter Amiibo, straight from Japan.

In the US these will mostly be offered in a three pack, so many won’t be able to pick and choose which to get. Of course, with figures like this, you probably want the whole set. I doubt there are many Swordsman fans out there that refuse to allow a Brawler to touch their shelf.

Still, there are definite differences between the three. The Gunner is by far my personal favorite, featuring some fantastic detailing on the gun and backpack. The Swordsman is a close second, with nice touches on the sword and clothing. The Brawler is a distant third though, featuring quite plain details that don’t really bring it to life the way the other do.

Still, they are all very well made, meaning they look and feel great, even if some look a bit better. For anyone that is looking to complete the Super Smash Bros. line of Amiibo they will certainly be a fine addition to the set.
