Ubisoft has released update patch 1.03 for all versions of Far Cry Primal today. They have revealed all of the patch notes so you can see all of the big changes that have been made.
The biggest addition in this Far Cry Primal update patch is that it includes the Survivor Mode. The Survivor Mode is available to select in the New Gameplay Options when starting a New Game.
The download sizes vary per platform. The update patch is 1.1 GB on PC, 849 MB on PS4 and only 817 MB on Xbox One. For PC gamers only, there is also an HD Texture Pack that you can download. The texture pack is 3.5 GB and is available to get via Steam and Uplay.
Gameplay fixes include: “New Option in Gameplay Menu – Hunter Vision Duration – Can toggle the duration of Hunter Vision (Default/20s/30s/Infinite), New Option in the Interface Menu – Hide the bow reticle unless you are aiming or holding the bow ready, Fixed melee damage resistance skill also affecting ranged damage and Increased critical health in hard/expert difficulty modes”
Stability performances made: “Fixed an issue where player could lose their inventory when swapping weapons in specific conditions and Fixed some specific, low occurrence crashes“.
