Ori and the Blind Forest released just over a year ago for both Xbox One and PC to near universal acclaim for its gameplay and art style. This was followed up last month with the release of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition for Xbox One that brought new content, which is now also finally coming to PC next week.
Up until right before the release of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition last month, we thought it was going to be getting a dual release once again, but at the last minute the PC version was delayed with them saying they would be announcing a new release date soon.
It has been a little over a month since then, but they have now officially revealed when Ori and the Blind Forest is launching on PC on both the Windows Store and Steam through a trailer on the official Windows YouTube page that you can see below.
This trailer obviously just shows more of what we’ve seen already with the Definitive Edition and DLC already out for Xbox One, but the important news came at the end when it revealed that Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be out for PC on April 27.
Just like on Xbox One, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will cost you $19.99 if you do not already own the game, but those who have purchased it previous can buy just the upgrade for $4.99.
