The GOG Summer Sale has officially kicked off, offering big sales on PC games over the course of the next two weeks. When all is said and done there will have been sales on over 1000 games, with discounts going as high as 90% off.
However, before all of that GOG is giving gamers a chance to get a game absolutely free. If you download their Galaxy app and access the sale from it within the first 48 hours, then you get a copy of System Shock 2 for free.
The sale also gives you the potential to earn even more free games by checking in daily and buying games, which gives you points towards free games. 5,000 XP will get you Spelunky, 15,000 XP will get you Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers – 20th Anniversary Edition, and 30,000 XP will get you Dreamfall Chapters Season Pass.
