Mario Party Star Rush was announced by Nintendo yesterday, but it got completely ignored by all of the other crazy things going on. However, today they have released some actual gameplay from it, which reveals that it will be taking things in a new direction compared to the most recent iteration.

One of the coolest things about the new gameplay trailer is that it shows that everyone will move individually, which is a shift from the car mechanic from Mario Party 10. Considering that was a mechanic that many people were against, this is a great move to move away from that.

However, the coolest new thing about this game that is apparent from the very beginning of the trailer is that everyone moves at the same time. This means that there is no more waiting for your turn before you can roll, as everyone will hit their dice blocks and move across the board at the same time. That’s awesome and will really go towards making sure the game doesn’t drag.

Mario Party Star Rush will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on November 4th, and you can check out the gameplay trailer for it below.
