Bethesda shows off the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Creation Kit

The Skyrim Creation Kit will soon be in the hands of PC gamers, and Bethesda has put together a short video detailing some of the features of the mod platform.  The Skyrim Creation Kit offers those that choose to use them, all of the tools that the game developers at Bethesda Game Studios uses to create the game.  Coupled with the Steam Workshop, users will be able to upload and share content with all users on the Steam Network.

For those that are familiar with the toolset from Fallout, you’ll be right at home.  The big changes however, come from the integration with Steam Workshop.

The Skyrim Creation Kit is set to release “soon” as a free download on Steam.
